On June 20 (Thu.), Osaka University of Tourism held “Job EXPO 2024,” an on-campus university-company joint employment information session.
A total of 19 companies, which mainly related to Kansai International Airport, tourism-related companies, and companies with foreign workers, participated in the event. In addition, we had the pleasure of inviting hello work Izumisano and Mori Kogyo, a company specializing in supporting foreign students. More than 190 students attended the event.
The event was attended not only by fourth-year students who are currently doing job hunting but also by second-year students who are starting their industry research and third-year students who are preparing for summer internships.
What’s more, fellow student staff members played an active role in reception, guiding visitors around the venue, and cleaning up afterward.
The Career Center will continue to hold the “Job Expo” to help students find jobs they want and dear companies for them to work for.
The next event is scheduled for Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
