Osaka University of Tourism promotes the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism (GCET)

The World Charter of Tourism Ethics (GCET) is a code adopted by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) to maximize tourism development while minimizing the potential adverse effects of tourism on the environment, cultural heritage, and society.
Osaka University of Tourism seeks an understanding of the Charter for the faculty, staff, students, and the tourism industry and employers, including graduates and local governments and companies that collaborate on education and research. We promote with them the realization of responsible and sustainable tourism under the Charter.
